My Sweetheart,
You are a dear girl to write me another love letter. Just received it tonight. You have some memory to

recall that Amsterdam matter. I don't recall a thing about it. Don't seem to remember that I was in good spirits.
I don't just understand what you say about Frank beating me. Did he have a $972 week and then a victory week besides? Hope he did.
We have three orders today for $36.72, forty $5 and $40.50. Not so bad. Hope to get another letter from you tomorrow. Expect to stay here all day. I have fully decided to go home Friday night and surprise Louise. Drop me a line to reach me in Binghamton on Friday if you can think of anything you want me to get her. Guess we are entitled to celebrate Louise's birthday together. She'll never have another birthday at her age.
Nothing new, have no definite plans for balance of week, but I'm looking forward to seeing you all Friday for supper.
Jack

John has excellent handwriting. However, in some instances, I cant decipher it. If I can't, I simply mark the spot with "xxx"s to signify thank the word isn't decipherable.
